Introduction: This report will tell you a lot of amazing facts about these amazing fish!

 

It’s a nice day when the seaweed flows with the water suddenly! A chainsaw comes out, it's not a normal chainsaw that comes to life (it’s a smalltooth sawfish!)

General description:The smalltooth sawfish like all sawfish are in the ray family and also the shark family.


What they eat:Did you know that sawfish only like to eat shrimp and they herd fish. (they don’t eat humans or hurt humans) however they will attack you if you annoy them they will cause serious injuries.


Habitat: They live in the mostly atlantic ocean next to north America.


Size: Smalltooth sawfish can grow up to 25ft 7.6m; including the rostrum, it can camouflage itself on the seabed then it attacks! (true fact smalltooth sawfish were built for camouflage) When it chips a tooth it grows back as many times as possible. When it comes to breeding they can have up to 10-20 young. 


Why they are special: Because there are about 5,000 left in the earth
